I haven't updated in a while, but I suppose Taylor Swift is worth it!

LAWLS!

This is, of course, in response to:

Of course if you have met me, you would know that I LOVE HER. So yeah, I guess I have to hate him! Jackass. No, really. OBAMA SAID SO.

He might not have gotten us out of the recession yet, but at least he knows something! <3 Obama.

Life is trudging along, I suppose. I'm bored and yet very busy at the same time... sigh. I desperately want to do something creative other than draw (I'm taking a drawing class that is 3 hours long, twice a week. Very uncomfortable chairs.), but I haven't gotten the time. But! Kanye West is a jerk and I can successfully resent him whenever I feel uninterested in the world around me (which is full of sketch books, art supplies, and Adobe programs. It's actually really time consuming, just 4 classes...).

Taylor, I love you!

Ho hum.

Oh, and I found this poll....

HA HA bitch

Also, Memily is married!! Yay :)

Tomorrow: Germantown, Potomac, College Park, Potomac, Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Germantown. And the next day, Rhode Island. Then Maryland. Then Washington state. Then back to Maryland. Oh bejesus.

At least I get to wear a pretty dress! It is pink with dots on it. :) I've just noticed that I have got a lot of pink dresses... it's like I'm a girl or something. Hmm.

Moved out 2 days ago, cleaned room 3 days ago, went to doctor yesterday, moved Seth out today. Tomorrow is finishing both move-outs, the walkthrough with my landlady, seeing Linden, then La Ferme for restaurant week. After that I'm going to RI with Seth for a family gathering which has now turned into a memorial service, with the recent and unfortunate passing of his grandmother. :( I liked her a lot.

Hopefully the mood will not be somber enough for Seth to be able to show me around the town where he spent a decent amount of his childhood. It would be really nice! His dad built his whole house by himself from scratch. Awesome. Right out of home depot with his family doing the work with him. And also Norman (Seth's dad) looks like Daniel Craig. Maybe he secretly is a British spy. Hmm.

It's weird having a rearranged room. But at least it got cleaned, haha. Only took all day. Nasty jont.

Perhaps trip to Seattle to help Olga move in? I dunno. My mom suggested it, and if she wants to fund the thing, I have no problem going on a free vacation. AWESOME!

Aaaand then school starts. I'm going to try and convince my mom that bartending will not get me killed so that I can actually have money again. I'd really like to have a wad in the bank for a future down payment on a house or something. I figure I could save up $30 thou in a couple of years and just let it sit. I could get that much in 2 years working at stupid Best Buy; I'd get a lot more dishing out drinks to lonely people.

Mmmmphrghbleh! Undercooked spanakopita tastes bad.

So yesterday was Olga's goodbye party, and I think we're all depressed now. Joe fought this asshole who was there, and totally kicked his ass. I feel like I provoked it, though, so I feel bad. But it was the battle for Kelsey, so it's good that Joe won (he always wins anyway, so whatever). Poly made delicious rice pudding (all I was allowed to eat!) and I helped make awesome ribs. Lots of pictures. I will miss Olga very much :(

Today and tomorrow is me moving out. Going to Gtown right now to prep, then tomorrow I get the UHAUL. La la.

M-m-m-m-more later.

Harry Potter spoilers? )

"Not to mention the pincers!"

Going to Busch Gardens tomorrow until Sunday, which should be fun. After that I get looked at by the real-life equivalents of the House show, and then comes moving out. August 2nd I might go up to Rhode Island for a memorial service for Grandma T, which will be really sad. The only acting jobs (as an extra, of course) I've gotten have been over in PA and WV. It is annoying. There's tons of stuff in MD... sigh.

I started doing real art again! It's nice to have real hobbies. :)

Bleh lazy lazy. Went kayaking yesterday and two days before that in Annapolis. It was okay. I have the upper-body strength of a kitten, so I kinda got left behind, but if was still fun. I put on sunscreen this time, because three days ago I got pretty burnt.

Anniversary attempt 1 was a major fail that had me thinking about ending the whole thing, but we tried at it again and it was better. Argh.... introverts are SO ANNOYING to date!

Anywhoo, said introvert's birthday was yesterday. After kayaking with Matthew and Jessica, Seth and I went to PF Chang's with my parents and his grandparents. It was kind of weird. His graduation party was worse, though. Just me and his whole family, some of which were orthdox jews. I just hung out with Seth's brother and grandma the whole time, because it was only family, no friends. Omg, scary. The food was okay--it probably would've been better if it wasn't for all those silly kosher relatives (no offense, Zach). Have you ever had cake without any dairy product in it? It's pretty gross. I was surprised though, that it wasn't completely horrible. Hmm.

Linden is coming back soon! YAY!!

So this summer I'm probably going to attempt to reconnect with friends and get in on Richard's job as an extra with Central Casting. I can play anyone from 15 to like 25, so why not? I don't have to be able to act, at least that's what he said. Not that I suck at it. I play a mean 92 year old! Yes. It's that or an internship with a design group in Rockville (HZDG), but I don't think they'll take me yet, sigh. I'm waiting for the final word on whether or not they want me for the summer. HZDG just got VW (you know, the cars... I can't spell it.) as a client, so they should be needing an extra lackey or two.

Ummmmmmmm bored. Been waiting around all day just to let people into my house, most of which weren't even my own potential subletters. So yeah. I just took Seth's birthday cake out of the oven, and am waiting for it to cool to frost it. It's lemon poppy, which has given me some trouble in the past. We'll see what happens. Hopefully it won't make me choke like last time....

My latest boredom-killer has been old school Zelda (Link to the Past). It's kinda trippy, haha. I'm pretty sure Link is smoking something for a lot of the game so far.

Irkum needs to go to the train station this summer! I hope everyone will be around for at least a little bit. :)

Just four more days and I am DONE. Omg. Can't happen soon enough.

So I spent like... 6 hours in the lab today. Oh my god. Ehhhh. Got my photos done, though! Ridiculous. Still got a ton of stuff to finish though. Oh, sigh. Been listening to A&A song about how much IT HURTS. (not a bad song, however naughty)

Curse living with 5 boys! I have blisters on my fingers from so much Super Smash Bros (holla at the original!!!).

Uhhhmmmmm I'm gonna pop.

Might post a pic or two I'm proud of here... hmm...

Uuunngh this week is gonna be the ultimate struggle zone. So many projects, so little time. More of redos, though. If anybody feels like posing for my photography class before Saturday, gimme a shout! Warning: you may be subjected to running back and forth or jumping high or something.

In other news, I have Lupus. House would disagree, but my doctor says so. I'll take it over RA, though. Now THAT would suck. Only treatment for it is self-done shots all the time. In the stomach. EEWWWWW. But Lupus=pills, yay! I have some experience there.

Zappy, wanna jump some? Plz halps me.

HOORAY for Linden coming back to me!! YES! I love you.

Also, yays and congrats to Matt and Emily! <3

I need to stop watching Psych reruns and finish my flash project. Ehhhhhhhh.

I made taffy and toffee and they were tasty. :) Took 3 tries to get the taffy right though. Next I want to try cherry cordials, but I have to get good at popovers so I can impress the SO's rents. They're coming down from RI for graduation, which will be interesting.

Class is killing me... but not as fast as all the candy I'm making is! :) Someone please take it away so I can stop eating it. I heart making candy. And summer vacation. And Alton Brown. And... the sun. Where is it? Did someone hide it? Give it back!

Soooo a lot has happened since I last typed jont in here. I quit BBY sometime in mid-Feb, which increased my happiness by a WHOLE LOT. Took up photography, which is really fun once you know wtf you're doing with your camera. Have been spending more time across the street at Seth's because he doesn't pay utilities and they have AC now! It's so, so good. I got like 3 hours of sleep last night it was so hot. But not anymore, MUAHAHAHAHA.

Today was awesome. Why? Because, it was the third time I tried making fucking salt water taffy. It finally worked!!! No more orange cement stuck to every surface in the kitchen! Oh damn it feels good to be a gangsta. Num num. My taffy is tasty.

I want to start updating this so that I'll remember what I was doing in my life since my memory is shot. I just never really have gotten around to it, but I'm gonna try to do more. So, life. It kind of sucks, the real part of it. Like... bills and shit. Oh no, real world! It's a scawy pwace.

So I figure that I'll shoot for an internship with HZDG in rockville. They just got VW as a client (huge!!) and should be needed sme extra lackeys. One I have my degree (in 8374837 years) maybe they'll hire me? We'll see. Seth is having better luck with the job market than I am (despite the crackpot economy), which is sort of good. Not like I'm graduating this May like he is! I would be so scared if I was, hahah. Will probably move back home for a few months until I figure out this internship thing. Hopefully it will be paid, though I doubt I'll get much more than I did at BBY. Which I will never go back to, btw. I do miss my homies though. :( I see them sometimes when they go out places, but we don't meet up all that much because Gtown is far from CP. Also, joint paints are a bitch and my doc still hasn't figured it out yet. Silly woman, hurry up and get me sum pills! It's owies. :(

Saw a Winter's Tale some time back and the Illusion a few days ago. Good stuff, but most of the former went right over my head. I wish I could see my friends more often, but everyone I know is very busy--and so am I. Well, with sleeping in. At least I'm not as bad as Pedro...

I just want to skip to the part where I have a steady job and no joint pains! And preferably have won the lottery. Also I would like to be famous. And cool.

Yay air conditioning!!

I'm really starting to resent work. I have no time for anything with the ridiculous hours and class as well. Some of the people there make me want to quit on the spot when I so much as see them, but I still want to be making money. Been looking for a different job until I go back to being a full-time student. What they pay me now at work is definitely not worth missing everything going on with my friends and that horrible drive 5 days a week. Not too sure what to do about everything. Hopefully will decide soon, because it's driving me nuts. Should also update more often with happier entries.

Whoever decided to move HP back to next summer is going to suffer.

In other news, my voice is completely shot. Like, nonexistent. Frick. Am getting time off from work as a result, but I'd do double time if it meant I could talk again. This morning I could like at least whisper and squeak. Now it's like... zip. Grr. And I actually stopped trying to talk.

Tomorrow is drinking gallons of water, and hopefully getting a bed. Possibly will get a haircut, but will be difficult because voice is broken. I really don't want to end up with a shaved head because of miscommunication.

Class is fun, I suppose. Parking is horrible though. I drove two strangers to their car to get their spot. They smelled bad and smoked.

One day I will get to see my friends.

Night.

I need to update more. Will eventually when I have time, hmm. Batman was awesome. And today, there was a little girl at Best Buy wearing a shirt that said "life begins at Hooters" on it. Parenting fail.

Took this from Kiri. :)

According to The Big Read the average adult has only read 6 out of the following 100 books they’ve printed. (I really don't believe this)
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.

Awesomeness )

Life's cool. Work is good, though sometimes slow. Tomorrow should be interesting. KD this weekend, hopefully. Today was the last day of the acting class, which was awesome. I'm really sleepy and tired. It was a long, long day. Gotta open the store tomorrow, too. So... going to bed now. <3

Work will be interesting, hmm. Today was okay. Kind of lethargic, I guess. Gonna sleep well tonight.

Shopping with Linden was good. Lunch the next day with Rachel, Cristina, Sari, and Nikki was also good. Also good was rock wall climbing with Seth. The end of that day was quite good, too, with Eckum and a movie. Today was okay, made a key lime pie. It has to refrigerate overnight though, so no eating it until tomorrow. Orientation and bday jont tomorrow, as well as Mel's show. Ehh, so much to do. And so much driving... omg gas.

Awesome, awesome day. Anyway.

Outlets tomorrow w/ Linden, CP Wednesday day with the Crew, sleepover Wednesday night with Eckum, Friday something?, Saturday Seth's jont and BB orientation, and Sunday is Father's Day. Monday work maybe, and Tuesday the on-camera acting again. Interesting.

Oh, and the acting teacher is Kate Wolfe's mom. Vicious. It's quite an awesome class, love the people in it and the teacher. Hahah. Yes, Kate Wolfe's mom. Small world much?

Pizza was delicious, and it was cool to see people again. Still must see the boys. And plan trip to GA. And England. Whoo yup. Matthew's new housemates are on crack and I hope he survives their terribleness somehow. They're pretty wretched. Yup.

Sooo yeah, last few free days before work should be fun.

So the busy week went well, as has the calm before the storm that I'm in now. Over the weekend I made pot roast for Seth's birthday dinner (of which he's had like, six of total), which turned out surprisingly well. I'm definitely making it again, though it was hard to find a three pound jont of meat. But the chunk was pretty glorious when we did find it. Oh man, so much meat. So good. The next day was more CP, including dumplings and red bean buns at Ten Ren's. Then there was a sleepover at Linden's house, also fun. Yesterday I went kayaking with Matthew and met his and his brother's interesting UMBC friends. Twins everywhere! That was pretty fun. More food, including a meatball sub and a shake from Potbelly's. Weird metro confusion happened, but it all got sorted out. Hmm.

Tonight is the first of a series of acting classes I spontaneously signed up for. It's from 7-10 on Tuesday nights for a few weeks, for on-camera training. Richard decided it would be a good idea for me to join whatever casting company he was in, and be an extra in movies. A good idea, as it only takes up one day every two weeks or so and gives a decent wad of money. The class does cost a wad of money itself, though. But I'll make it back, oh yes. Orientation for freakin Best Buy is Saturday at 2, which is really inconvenient. Seth's birthday present from his friends (this will be the seventh of this sort of thing) is to go to this place (which I will keep anonymous in case this is stumbled upon), for which they leave CP to get to at 11 am. I hope they'll get there before noon, because I can then meet them and go straight to Germantown. I am so not passing up the birthday jont, because John (THE bff) explained it to me and it is awesome. No way gonna turn down that invite! I will recall the event after it happens.

So yeah, I'll eventually start making money. One day. Hopefully later this month, hahah. Dunno when training starts and if I get paid for that. We shall see. Today I gotta fix this mess of a room before the class at night, and possibly drop by Adam's for NY pizza and a Crew reunion of sorts. We haven't seen e/o in a while. it'll be cool. Kind of like having money, yup. Fuckin gas prices. Wtf, gas? Go back down.
